Cosmetologists use their skills and training and apply it to the world of beauty. The field of cosmetology includes hairstyling, nail care, cosmetics and skincare.
A high school diploma or equivalent is usually required in order to enter a cosmetology program. Most states also require cosmetology professionals to complete in state programs in order to be licensed in that particular state.
